Can you live a lie?

It’s a ghost town, this place that haunts me, the one that made me.

It’s clear to me that I’ll never outgrow Triple Falls or outlive the time I spent here.

In Exodus, seconda parte del The Ravenhood Duet, l'autrice riesce a ribaltare le carte in tavola ancora una volta! Tutto ciò che credevamo certo nel capitolo precedente, tutto ciò che Cecelia ha affrontato, ogni punto fermo, in se stessa e nelle persone che la circondano, cambia posizione, scivola via per lasciarsi dietro ambiguità e smarrimento. Ed è in questa nuova solitudine subìta suo malgrado che la protagonista affronta una nuova evoluzione, accompagnata da un ombra malevola che la sfida, la intimidisce e l'attrae come il fuoco la falena. Finirà nelle fiamme della passione e dell'odio, il mondo che Cecelia ha imparato a conosce e amare poco alla volta?

Exodus porta su un altro livello la narrazione iniziata in Flock, aggiungendo al mix precedente un plot twist inimmaginabile uno dietro l'altro. Vi consiglio di affrontare la lettura senza cercare troppi spoiler, vi rovinereste il viaggio. perchè di questo si tratta, di un viaggio di esplorazione nella vera natura dei sentimenti di amore, di attaccamento e di attrazione. Uno spietato e sofferto eppure necessario affondo nell'animo umano che vi farà sentire tutto: odio, passione, vendetta, paura, dolore, rinascita, e l'amore, quello puro, quello per cui tutti uccideremo. Imperdibile!!!

A ruthless and suffered yet necessary sink into the human soul that will make you feel everything: hatred, passion, revenge, fear, pain, rebirth, and love, the pure one, the one for which we will all kill.
